Outreach Ukraine-Russia War Uncategorized Youth Camp

1,285 days of war

Psalm  81:10

“I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.”

Greetings!

We recently heard a sermon about asking BIG within the will of God, expecting BIG things from the Lord, and disciplining ourselves to have the faith to believe that God can and will do BIG things.  So often, we get bogged down in the details or overwhelmed by the magnitude of the problem that we forget to “open our mouths wide” for the Lord to answer BIG.  We were encouraged to discipline our minds and prayer lives to do this!  We encourage you to do the same!

Please praise the Lord with us for

  • Special time of camp outreach in Ukraine for refugee children and children of fallen soldiers.  Our partners in Mukachevo held over 5 weeks of camp and saw many children come to know Jesus as their personal Savior;
  • Open doors to evangelise and disciple soldiers in Ukraine;
  • Continued Humanitarian aid distribution and Gospel witness in war-torn cities and towns;
  • Children and Orphans fed and cared for in Odesa, Kyiv, and surrounding villages;
  • Raleigh church outreaches for Ukrainian Independence Day and end of summer celebrations;
  • Raleigh church preparing a Baptismal Service on September 7th;
  • DC Bible Study growing and planning future outreaches;
  • New Bible studies started in London, Canada, through Oleg’s mentoring in the “Oasis” program designed to start new churches/Bible studies where Ukrainian refugees have landed;
  • Abigail has gotten off to a good start at college, and we are slowly adjusting to life without her in our home;
  • Simon has gotten off to a good start in the 10th grade.

Please pray for

  • A soon and just end to the Russian-Ukrainian war;- Direction for Ukrainian refugees living outside of Ukraine whose immigration status is in limbo; wisdom to know how to help them;
  • Wisdom to guide and direct the Raleigh, Miami, Washington DC, and London, Canada ministries;
  • Protection and spiritual strength for our Ukrainian team members as they preach the Gospel, feed and care for orphans, deliver humanitarian aid, and live in a war zone;
  • A special time of celebration on September 7 for the Raleigh baptismal service;
  • Favor with churches and individuals as we contact them to become missionary partners;
  • Our family to remain healthy and spiritually strong as we minister to a traumatized people group;
  • Networking within the Ukrainian Diaspora of America at a conference in Philadelphia, August 29-31.

Thank you for continuing to partner with our family in ministry.  We are grateful for YOU!  Please write to us!  We are always so encouraged to hear what the Lord is doing in and through you.

Sincerely,

Oleg, Lori, Abigail, and Simon Enskyy
