Greetings!
Thank you so very much for praying for our family, ministry, the end of the war in Ukraine, and for Kingdom expansion within the Ukrainian community. As the Word is having free course and being glorified through our collective efforts to reach Ukrainians for Christ, Satan is attacking and trying to steal our joy. God’s Word reminds us in Ephesians 5:14-17 that we need to “redeem the time because the days are evil” to walk wisely and understand what God’s will is for us. Sometimes understanding what God’s will is for us can be difficult as circumstances hem us in, but we praise His Name for the Holy Spirit who comforts, guides, reveals, and leads to that understanding. We trust that as you walk with the Lord today, His comforting Spirit will remind you of that beautiful truth and encourage your spirit.
Last weekend, the Lord sent us tremendous encouragement through a partner chaplain in Ukraine. He is here in the States visiting his children and spent a few days in our home to preach at First Ukrainian Baptist of Raleigh on Sunday evening. His sermon stirred our hearts to serve the Lord in hardship as he relayed how this war is bringing people to their knees as they realise only God can save them and help them. So often, we rely on our own strength to solve our problems. When we turn to the Lord for wisdom, guidance, and understanding, it is then that He is most glorified and can genuinely do a God-sized work in our lives and in our countries. Our people were encouraged and sent Slavik on his way with a tremendous sacrificial gift for his ministry. Thank you for the sacrificial gifts you have given to the Ukrainian Gospel and Humanitarian Aid ministry, which allow men like Slavik to carry on in hard places for Christ!

Oleg continues to meet with five men via Zoom to mentor, encourage, and be encouraged in church planting among Ukrainians worldwide. We covet your prayers and support for the Ukrainian Oasis program, that the Lord may use it to bring Hope and Peace to many through a genuine and saving faith in Jesus Christ.
The feeding ministry is reaching many refugee families in Kyiv. As the war drags on and Russia wipes out Ukrainian critical infrastructure, many families cannot make ends meet. Having a safe place for their children to eat and be encouraged has made them open to coming to church and hearing the Gospel themselves. Please pray for brothers and sisters who sacrifice their time in this ministry, that they not grow weary in doing good! Pray for the Odesa orphan ministry, that the Lord would bless and strengthen the house parents as they raise these children and help them overcome war trauma.

Ukrainian losses on the frontlines have made mobilization efforts more aggressive in most Ukrainian cities. This has made delivering aid to hard-hit areas almost impossible, as men are being taken from the aid vehicles and sent to mobilization posts. Please pray that we would find creative, law-abiding ways to get the Gospel and needed aid into hard areas. Pray for peace and victory in Ukraine!
Thank you for your encouraging cards, calls, and emails. Your support and prayers make it possible for us to continue serving the Lord full-time. You are a vital part of our ministry team, and we thank the Lord for you!
Sincerely,
