The report comes from one of our Touch A Life feeding locations in Kenya, and is written by the Pastor who oversees the feeding center run out of that church.
Dear Ministry Partner,
Praise the Lord. I may not thank you enough, but kindly receive my sincere gratitude for your relentless support and effort in helping us carry out the Great Commission.
I wish to testify to the Lord’s doing through the Touch A Life feeding program in our church. Before the program was launched, we used to have an average of 40-50 children in attendance, and absenteeism was the norm. However, it is encouraging to note that the number in attendance has grown drastically to an average of 90 children and can even go higher to 120 during the school holiday months of April, August, and December.

Touch a Life has not only been a blessing to the children but to the entire church as well. We hardly have a Sunday service without a visitor. This is a result of the feeding program. I am happy to report that the church attendance has greatly improved since the program began.
In every blessing, challenges are inevitable. We have had some challenges, such as poor roads in our area, especially roads that lead to our church. We ferry some of the food every Sunday morning from my house to the church by motorbike and face difficulties during rainfalls. We pray and hope the government will work on these roads. Another challenge is the fluctuation of prices of items that we locally obtain, such as firewood. During rainfalls, we struggle to get dry firewood, and the ones we get are sold at high prices.
We also have a challenge with our kitchen. It is very old and possesses a lot of problems, especially when it rains, as we have old iron sheets that leak and make cooking by firewood very hard. Pray for us to get funds for building a modern kitchen as well as Sunday school classes, which we have already started. You can donate online below, or by mailing in a check and designating it to “Outspan Kitchen”

We have one of the beneficiaries of the Touch a Life feeding program called Obama. He comes from a vulnerable family. After receiving Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior, he has been consistent in attending church, just like the other children who, through this program, have benefited a lot. We are praying for the conversion of his family. We are also praying for him as he suffers from a strange disease that affects his sight. Despite the challenges, he effortlessly helps in Sunday school classes and likes to listen and be taught.

It is our prayer that God will bless you and all the Touch a Life sponsors. May we all prosper in our zeal to serve the Lord.
God bless you so much.
Yours in Christ,
Rev. Godfrey Wanjala
