Touch A Life Ukraine-Russia War

1419 days of war

Happy 2026 New Year!

It is hard to believe that we are well into January 2026! We trust you all had a very blessed Christmas and New Year.

The Lord blessed the Christmas outreaches we held in Raleigh and Washington, DC, and the ones we helped with in Miami, Canada, and Ukraine. One young woman repented and openly professed faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Please pray for Sofiia to grow in her faith and attend Bible study and church faithfully. The children at the Kyiv feeding center and the Odesa orphanages were especially grateful for the celebratory meals they enjoyed thanks to your generosity.

Thank you for praying for Maksim’s baptismal service. His unsaved wife attended with him for the first time and stayed until the very end of our lengthy celebratory service. Her name is Iryna. Please pray for her salvation. The service itself was incredibly joyful and a source of encouragement during a time of instability and fear (immigration status/fear for loved ones in Ukraine/financial concerns, etc.). The Lord is able to provide for all of our needs, even when we are unsure of how He is going to do it. The Lord brought Maksim to faith in Jesus Christ through these hardships.

In the past few months, Oleh has translated several books into Ukrainian and had them published. New technology has made translating and publishing books much more financially feasible. He has been working on the third-century church fathers who shaped many crucial doctrines that we hold dear. Through this translating work, we have marveled at the industry and ability of these men to work out very difficult doctrinal truths from scrolls without modern concordances and helps.  The guidance of the Holy Spirit and God’s desire for us to understand His Word have been made clear to us again.  Praise His Name!

Thank you for continuing to invest in our ministry by praying for and financially supporting what the Lord is allowing us to do.  You are a great encouragement to us.

Please continue to pray for the following:

– A soon and just end to the Russian-Ukrainian war, today is day 1419;

– Wisdom, spiritual endurance, and physical safety for our family as we minister to many needy and hurting people;

– For the Raleigh, Miami, Washington DC, and Canadian church plants to grow and prosper in the Lord;

– For our Ukrainian team members not to grow weary in doing good, it is a cold and hard winter, and many are without electricity and heat;

– For the immigration status of Ukrainian refugees to become more stable; for the fear and instability that many are experiencing to be used of the Lord to open their hearts to the Gospel;

– Favor with churches and individuals as we contact them to become missionary partners;

– For our daughter Abigail, who is not making sound or Biblical decisions;

– For Lori’s parents (Bob and Arlene Milburn) to completely recover from pneumonia.

Sincerely,

Oleh and Lori Enskyy
