This report comes from Oleg and Lori Enskyy who run our Touch A Life program in Ukraine.
Thank you for supporting the wartime TAL ministry in Ukraine. This month we wanted to highlight the orphan care ministry that you support in Odesa, a port city in southern Ukraine that is bombed regularly. You help care for 30 war orphans in family style orphanages run by Grace Baptist Church. Every month, you provide food and extra treats that these foster parents would not be able to afford.

The war has decimated the Ukrainian economy and the Russian bombardment of the electrical grid has made food storage very difficult. We were able to provide a powerful, solar generator that will allow the refrigerators and heaters to run regardless of power outages. This is a tremendous blessing to these families who have been through so much tragedy. They can now rest easy knowing that the food that the Lord has provided will not spoil and they will be warm (it is still snowing in Ukraine) when the electricity goes out (sometimes for 15-30 hours at a time).

It is hard to believe that for more than four years, Ukraine has been defending its people from relentless attack. Several weeks ago, a very large Baptist church was deliberately targeted and destroyed by a guided missile. The psychological and mental fatigue of being constantly bombarded and never feeling safe has left many hopeless. They are afraid to go to churches for help because they, too, have become targets. Pray for Ukrainians ministering in Ukraine to find creative ways to give the Hope of the Gospel during these extremely trying times. Thank you for continuing to give so that we can use humanitarian aid as a tool in our arsenal, and thank you for supporting this very worthy ministry.
